Every year, Turning Point hosts an informative discussion on mental health care, featuring a panel of elected officials and local experts discussing the impact of current political and economic factors on mental health services.
The Town Hall Meeting will take place at Skokie Public Library and is open to the public. Admission is free and reservations are not required but capacity is limited.
This year’s confirmed panelists to date include:
- Leslie Combs from the office of U.S. Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky
- Illinois State Senator Laura Fine
- Illinois State Senator Ram Villivalam
- Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin
- Village of Skokie Mayor George Van Dusen
(Panelist attendance is based on the availability of the panelists and is subject to change.)
